I created this sign for my own mom—just a simple way to put into words something I’ve always felt but don’t say enough: you are my inspiration. I realized so many of us feel the same way. 

This piece is for anyone looking for a meaningful Mother’s Day gift—something more personal than flowers, and something she’ll treasure long after the day has passed.

The sign is carved from solid pine wood and carefully hand-finished through a slow process that brings out its character. I gently burn the carved details to deepen their contrast and highlight the design, and then finish the piece with a coat of pure tung oil. The oil enhances the natural grain of the wood and gives the wood a warm, rich tone.
